The Golden State takes pride in their dairy goldmine. In a press release published on PRNewswire, the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) echoes Governor Jerry Brown in proclaiming June as the state’s “Real California Milk Month.” Aside from celebrating milk and other dairy foods, the state also honors the various benefits of these products.

An article posted last January 18, 2014 on the Sacramento Bee website details the resulting ordeal when contaminated chicken from California infected about 430 locals with salmonella. As frustrating as sports injuries can be for fans, they have to be more frustrating for athletes because injuries take them away from the game they love. To avoid missing a game, many athletes try to rush back to the field too soon. However, doing so only opens the door for them to aggravate their injury or sustain a more serious one.
